Tall candles Short candles Candles of one colour
Candles of rainbow colours Thick candles and thin candles
Church candles and Advent candles Candles at Kings
Candles for prayer
Look closely – don’t you see?
The flames are all the same size
Constant and equal As God’s love.
The Donkey
Gentle – gentle creature I love you.
Often misunderstood Ill – treated
Bowed down Mocked.
Take courage. Hold your head up high.
God chose you above all others
To bear Him to our Redemption.
You carry the sign of a cross on your back.
You are blessed indeed.
Beautiful Shape
Perfect – Round
Complete – Whole
Divide it.
Each part a whole floret.
However many times it is divided
The individual parts are complete
And perfect
But think!
The smaller they become,
The weaker they are.
The easier they are to break.
The body of Christ.
The Church.
Innocent eyes
Innocent faces
Telling of Your great love,
Tears of emotion welling up
Unable to be suppressed.
Dear God – keep that innocence
Protect them from fear.
Cover them in the blanket of
Your peace and love.
Show us how to lead them to You
The Lover of little children.
